Beef Baguette wth Thai-Choice Hoisin Sauce

Directions

Directions: Pickled carrot/daikon radish

  1. Add the shredded daikon radish and carrot to a bowl.
  2. In another bowl, mix together Thai-Choice Rice Vinegar, warm water, sugar and salt until the sugar and salt dissolved.
  3. Pour the pickling liquid over the daikon radish and carrot, the liquid fully covers them.
  4. Allow the mixture to rest at room temperature for a minimum of 30 minutes. For optimal results, prepare it several hours or up to one day in advance and store it in the refrigerator.

Directions: Stir-fried beef

  1. Marinate the thinly sliced beef with Thai-Choice Hoisin Sauce at room temperature for 15 to 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, then sauté minced garlic for 15 to 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
  3. Add sliced onion and sauté for 1–2 minutes, until softened.
  4. Add the marinated beef to a hot pan, spreading it out in a single layer. Stir-fry quickly for about 2 to 3 minutes until cooked through and slightly browned, then set aside.
  5. Preheat the oven to 175°C and bake the bread for 3–5 minutes.
  6. Slice each baguette lengthwise without cutting all the way through, leaving one side intact like a hinge. Scoop out some of the soft bread inside to create space for the filling.
  7. Spread mayonnaise evenly on both sides of the sliced bread, then drizzle a small amount of Thai-Choice Seasoning Sauce over the mayonnaise.
  8. Evenly distribute the stir-fried beef inside the bread.
  9. Add a suitable amount of drained pickled daikon radish and carrot on top of the beef.
  10. Top with cucumber sticks and coriander. Add thinly sliced fresh chilli peppers for spiciness, if desired.
